Hi, everyone! It's Ann here, welcoming you to another Everything But the Kitchen Sink challenge! It is with mixed emotions that we announce this will be the final EBTKS challenge. We have enjoyed all of the challenges & your creativity in completing them, and we want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has participated in this venture over the past year. However, the entire EBTKS team has gotten busier, so the time is right for us to move on.

Now, before you get too sad, let's talk about our final challenge. I was inspired by this velvet pillow and fleece blanket on my couch...so our focus this time is on TEXTURES! Think felt, flocking, ribbons/fibers, even dry embossing.

Hi Friends

It's time for another Everything but the Kitchen Sink challenge. We've decided to do something different for our end of the month challenge. It's going to be a hostess choice sort of challenge, so you will likely see a lot of variety in the upcoming months! Fun, right?

Well, for this month's challenge, I get the privilege of hosting. I immediately wanted to do an inspiration challenge based on a travel bag I have. Check out the inspiration photo below:

The challenge is to use this bag (which I love) as an inspiration for your piece (card, scrapbook page, art, whatever your heart desires). You can use the colors the pattern, again, just go with what you are "inspired" to create.

EBTKS Challenge # 22- Hair Accessories

Good morning! It time for our "Around the House Challenge" from the EBTKS blog. And I "Winter" am the host this month. And my item to use from around the house is Hair Accessories! It can be rubber bands, bobby pins, clips, etc... Just about everybody has some kind of hair accessory if they have hair or a daughter! :) I was at my sisters house a couple of weekends ago and we were looking through her daughters hair accessories. And I found the cutest butterfly that was made out of small rubber bands. So that got me thinking about cards and how than can be used on a card and be taken off to use as a gift too! :) And our sponsor this month is Some Odd Girl!

Hey, Courtney here! It's been awhile since I've hosted. Recently I've been obsessed with all things fabric and sewing. So when I started to think about my challenge, fabric is immediately what I thought.

You are welcome to use fabric scraps you have, but we'd also love for you to think of fabric you have around the house. For example I used an old sweater that had a hole in it and needed to be thrown out. Or maybe you have a towel, t-shirt, pillow case.

Welcome ... we're so glad you found us. We can't tell you how excited we are to be moving from hosting these challenges on our blogs to hosting them here! We hope that you are too, and that you find inspiration and a little help on thinking outside the box here.
