Around The House Challenge #5 -Box Tops

Good morning! Well it is time for another Around the House Challenge, and this time it is hosted by...Yours Truly (Winter)! :) And the item to use is a box top or the cardboard from a box. You should have seen all the empty cereal boxes at my house while making my projects! :)

And our sponsor this week is Kelleigh Ratzlaff from The Digichick. So we used a template from their store and our item (box top), to come up with these amazing projects! Here is what we came up with. You can go to each of our blogs to check out the details on what we did.

And stop by Kelleigh's shop at The Digichick for a template. She has some really cute ones and she are offering a supply a coupon code for 40% off a $15 purchase for every participant. How generous is that?! You do not have to use a template to participate, you just have to use a box top or something from a box. But the templates are really fun to use, so if you would like to purchase a template, you can email Courtney at courtneymbaker@gmail.com to get the 40% off code. I ended up getting two, and I think I will go back and get a couple more! :)

The details:
Create a card, altered item or scrapbook page, upload a photo of your card to your blog or online gallery & then come back here to post the link to your photo in the Mister Linky below (please link directly to your card). You have 10 days to complete your card (February 8 at midnight CST). We'll pick the winner by February 12. Please feel free to post the images above on your blog! Please just remember to save them to your computer first!

Have a Blessed day!

  3. Wow, this was so fun. I plan on keeping all my cookie boxes, cereal boxes, noodle boxes, etc. Just when I thought I was getting a handle on my hoarding issues. LOL At least I won't have to buy kraft paper for a while. The DT did an awesome job. Great eye candy!

  4. I had fun with this one. I have often thought of using cereal box cardboard in a pinch if I didn't have any scrap thin chipboard laying around, but I have never gotten around to it. This challenge gave me the push to finally do it ... and I love the effect. With a little Glimmer mist you could never tell that it was not a purchased embellishment. I have posted my submission in the #9 slot with Mr.Linkie. Great Challenge!!!
